Evernote Beta – New and improved or not?

I love Evernote and have blogged about it before. I turned on the beta version of Evernote when they released it back in October. I want to pass on my thoughts about the new versions so you can decide if it’s worth trying it for yourself.

Evernote Beta

The New, Beautiful Evernote Web is what Evernote is calling the Beta version. Evernote CEO Phil Libin said “It’s built for focus”. Let’s find out if that is indeed the case.

How to organize dropbox to keep your life seamless!

What if you could have all you documents ready to work on where ever you are? Long gone are the days of burning a CD, carrying a flash drive and making multiple copies of files. Only to overwrite the most recent version with an old version because you got confused over which one was the most current. I know how that feels.

dropboxDrobox for those of you who don’t know is a wonderful tool. It’s a cloud based storage system that allows you to access your documents anywhere. It works and works well. In fact I wrote most of this blog post on my iPad. I was able to sync the file to my dropbox account once I was home.

I used to have dedicated flash drive and at the time I thought nothing could get better than a flash drive for carrying your documents. Oh how I disliked burning a CD to carry documents it felt so permanent. Once the cloud was established it opened up a whole new way of thinking. If I’m working on my iPad the file will sync the next time I open up my desk top machine. Dropbox also works across many different platforms.

Dropbox stores your folders out in the cloud and then sync’s them back to a local folder.

The Friday wrap up!

Want to set yourself up for a successful week? Before you can do that you need to take a few minutes and wrap up the week that you are in. It only takes a few minutes but those minutes can let you leave the office with a clear head. And this will start the following week off on the right foot.

I love friday

Yeah it’s Friday and you are watching the clock, your brain has given it’s all this week. You need the break. Unfortunately a client of yours just asks for something. Or you still need to finish a report. Honestly I know, it really never will end. But you must break from it and wrap up the week.

In 15 minutes or less you too can wrap your week up. This will help you to feel good about going into the weekend and will set your week up for success. Put it on your calendar and do it!
